History

Trego-Dugan has been in the airplane business for the past 40 years. It started with an FBO business and has expanded forward from there. We now have multiple FBOs, a jet maintenance facility and managed aircraft for private owners and charter passengers. Today, Trego-Dugan Jet Management and OCA Ventures are jointly developing metropolitan markets across the US.

Trego Aviation, Inc. was founded by Gary M. Trego in 1970 as a family owned and managed FBO, flight school, charter operation and aircraft maintenance facility. Gary, along with his wife Terry, successfully led the company for 24 years with business vision, a midwest work ethic and unparalleled integrity.

In the early 90s, Garyís daughter, Traci, and son-in-law Vince Dugan joined the company which then became Trego/Dugan Aviation, Inc. More years ago than she cares to admit and thanks to Gary, Traci soloed before she earned her driverís license. She is now the President of Trego-Dugan Jet Management and Director of Operations for Trego/Dugan Aviation, Inc. Vince Dugan is an aviation attorney and a pilot. His overall responsibility includes daily operations of Trego/Duganís business segments. He is General Counsel, the President of Trego/Dugan Aviation of Grand Island and Vice President of Trego/Dugan Aviation, Inc. in North Platte.

In the mid 90s, TDA flight operations expanded into jet management services. With revenues more than tripling and a strong growth in jet management services, another FBO location was added in 2003. Then, in 2005, TDA expanded again and added international turbo-jet charter operations. Still family owned and going strong, TDA delivers business vision, a midwest work ethic and unparalleled integrity.
